Stupid question, you did remove the holding bolt at the bottom of the stantion correct? It is an allen and if it is filled with crud then it may appear to not be a bolt.

Looks like I got some work ahead of me. Kinda sux the dealership did a spline lube 2k miles ago.

Look on the bright side, at least none of the bolts should be seized/striped/corroded.
