I took off sensor and removed shims. Gap is marginally greater than spec but it works.

You can put the drive clog into the block if that's easier for you.

If you get stuck PM me. I made a cell phone video in case I ever need to do this again.

Ran it today.
It leaked initially, read that elsewhere, but after
a short run it sealed.

Had seal kit for some time

I didn't detect play until it was hot after a run.

Initially from kpartsholland but even though it said new on invoice, it wasn't.
I sent it back but only got refund for part, not for postage, arguing the point now.

Got new one from Motorworks.

All assembled but it's quite stiff to turn.

Because of both new seals I didn't expect it to be free but
it is stiff.
Fitted a new pump shaft.

Stiil on the bench until I clean off block.

So what function does the U groove fulfil I wonder.

I saw one video where he put the drive cog into the
block befire putting on the pump. Could it be a more
certain way of ensuring it's engaged? ...

Got immediate response.

Oil pump shaft.....

Is it possible to pressure test the block??
Or simply pump water through it - opposite direction maybe?? -
to check blockage
or to flush it out??

No I just gave him hub.

Found the problem.
Pinched the cable with caliper bolt :- (

Had bearing replaced in final drive.
Speedo not working now.
Only just found out.
Haven't tried anything yet.

I'm very late to the party, probably solved by now.

If the fan is not coming on.......
I didn't read through all the posts.
I had the problem had most of stripping done and came
to socket on fan ...

Seems the bearing is shot.
Took it for a fast run to get it hot.
Checked the wheel and I could feel the rattle.
