Hi
I got goodridge lines too and the lengths were a little odd.
One of the lines that goes to the caliper was a little shorted than the other. Thought that was a bit weird.
Always been happy ... |

The stopper is there and looks to be in reasonable condition. It's just that the side stand is not resting on it when it's up. |

Even a new spring is quite pricy and I think I also have an exhaust problem!
It's spitti ... |

So the shock is a bit of a shambles. Paint ... |

Ok so I did the caliper service without splitting and it was actually not much more difficult.
Used a g clamp and a block of wood to isolate each piston. Pumped one out, removed old seals, cleaned ... |

Interesting.
How did you do it?
I don't have a compressor or anything so i'd be relying on the caliper being connected to the hose to push the pistons out. |

Found a couple of piston kits but the're wild pricey.
Another option is to replace the caliper i guess.
Or at least get another rh caliper from a breaker and use the piston out of it.
The rh ... |

It's the sort that you screw it in and then put a wee pin through a hole in it in case it comes loose. |
