That doesn't look very water resistant. You might want to consider painting the backs of those circuit boards with RTV or epoxy or something.

I am the happy owner of a K1100RS since a couple of weeks. This is actually my fifth BMW motorbike.

This K11RS is from 1993, I purchased it from the first owner and it ran only 39000 ...
