Check the folded seam on the filter, if it leaks it would make a sound like that.
It was a big batch of bad filters made many years ago, I did get one of them. |

Does the tail light function? If not, first check for bad ground, second check
that the BMU gets power in...switched power, tail light power, brake light power and ground. |

| And finally, I found that sliding the new seals all the way down the (slightly lubed) inner tubes and seating them on the outer tubes gave better results than trying to fit the seals to the outer tube ... |

Inge, I don't see 346-bush on Maxbmw's #31 fiche. I do plan to replace the guide bushes (347).Can you describe where 346 goes?

Dismantle the starter and clean it for carbon dust...clean the commutator with
a eraser ....and and change the brushes.

and slowly brought it to 85 degrees F when it should have started to open - It didn't.
It should open at 85 degrees Celsius, at 85 degrees Farenheit you need some more firewood. |

Battery was failing, causing ABS lights to alternately flash
A ABS fault caused by low voltage should reset itself when things is back to normal. |

If you have a K11 and the baseplate is marked K11/K1 you missing two hooks that should be mounted on the tank
(in the mount for the battery cover on earlier models). |

The tool won't slip that easy on a shallow headed allen screw if the correct tool with a guide tip is used.
About the key size for the screws in the lowers, it's 6mm .....standard for a 8mm allen scr ... |

Another possibility that would fit better is the connector for the O2 sensor.
This sensor have a heating element which is activated when the ignition is on,
maybe the wiring or the element is shorte ... |

As it's screwed together it's the connector between the frame harness and the engine harness.
Non of these wires should be live either unless the engine is running,
just a couple of seconds when you ... |

Sounds like the connector for the high altitude correction plug.
One wire is live when the engine is running. |
