It not only looks good, it performed quite well!
As soon as I took out the old seal it started dripping oil, so I had to put new one in immediately. Fortunately I had the driver ready.

The idle should be set/be good with a warmed up engine. This means that using the 'choke' on start-up is common and not a wrong setting issue. IIRC the idle should be 950 +/- 50.
