Ignore my last post it’s all working fine now. My clutch switch was playing up causing some confusion in my testing. A squirt of contact cleaner seems to have sorted it for now.

Excellent - Thanks. Will be doing this soon. I find the stock side stand switch behaviour really annoying on my LT.

Polished it up with some Autosol and things look a little better. There is no corrosion in the area where the oil seal runs so I think I'll take a punt and try just renewing the seals.
