| Yup, just checked with the BMW tech. The temp sensor for the temp gauge is seperate. Good! |

The vavles are pretty static but if it's NEVER had the valves checked then I'd recommend having someon check/adjust the valves and having the TB's synched.

I second the motion of going fully synthetic on the gearbox oil. When I bought the bike, I changed all the oils to fully synthetic, and the beemer has been shifting better and better ever since...  |
