Mike: I think what you have there is a steel busing, the stock ones are aluminum. I have a EML sidecar and they are steel. Is your rig an EML ?

Any speedometer shop can replace the plastic with glass. They have a special tool for removing the bezel. A new bezel can be installed as well. Probably not all that expensive.
