If you build it as per the sketch and you need to remove Fairing for any service work you just ;
(1) Remove the panel with the fuel gauge.

The top bars are fitted to the engine mounting bolts.
The bottom bars are fitted to the original bolt holes at the front of the sump.

To me the front bars work. (You can alter how far you want the top of the bars to stick out when making them)
If you look at the photos you will see a scuff mark at the botto ... |

The gauge you saw is a volt meter.
It just means I can see that the battery is charging OK and before cranking the engine I can see the conditio ... |
