(1) Remove the panel with the fuel gauge.

The top bars are fitted to the engine mounting bolts.
The bottom bars are fitted to the original bolt holes at the front of the sump.
The same point as the makers bars are fitted too. I never used t ...

To me the front bars work. (You can alter how far you want the top of the bars to stick out when making them)
If you look at the photos you will see a scuff mark at the botto ...

Re the plastic parts etc =Washed them, dried then rubbed with tyre black liquid. The same with the rear panniers and their frame.
As regards the aluminium etc ...
