All - an update on my Fuel Gauge issue---
I am unable to the the VDO gauge to work. there must be an issue with Green and/or yellow wire.
Here is what I have done so far:

Can you tell me if Yellow goes to "S" terminal and Green to the "+" terminal on the VDO?

I have 95 K1100RS. Fuel gauge is not working. Got a VDO gauge but can't figure out factory wiring harness to new VDO gauge connectors matching.

I have access to a BMW K1100RS 94&Up wiring diagram. It is not clear.

my vdo gauge has following configuration
three connectors for gauge and 2 for light bulb

for guage it is marked as S, +, -
does - go to ground?
+ to ground?
S to green?

Flying Duck - do you know what color wire is what? is the GREEN - fuel sender? is the BLACK - ground? etc...

Update: I tool the gas cap off of the tank yesterday and with key in on position I moved the fuel sender floater unit up and down inside the tank. I was able to see the low fuel indicator on main ins ...

I tested all fuses using a tester. I grounded the tester to battery negative. Tested both sides of each fuse. With key on all light up except for F1 fuse.
