I've had my 93 K1100rs since probably 1999, and am on my second Odyssey battery, first one lasted almost ten years, have at least 7 on the current one. The bike stays on a battery tender. |

I usually just replace the gauges with VDOs
I did the same replaced fuel gauge and temp gauge + sender with VDO, no problems |

The bead seater is very particular on pressure, too much pressure blows the tire back off the rim.
sometimes less is more |

I tried an LED conversion on my RS, couldn't get the "bulb" in. The heat sink on the back interfered with the fairing mount. There looks to be clearance, if you could get it in.
