I'm no expert but I wonder if incorrect u-joint phasing could be a cause?

Mine was phased correctly.

My 1991 K100RS did the same thing but didn't lock up. It had 50K on the clock.

Is this the tool? It's marked 111 630 with a Mfg date of 07/08. It has a removeable center.

The problem: I was riding my 1991 K100RS and when I pulled the clutch lever in to change gears and the clutch stayed disengaged like the clutch lever was still pulled in.

The cable is still intact. If the cable broke, I wouldn't have the clutch stuck disengaged. I'll look for something lodged by the lever at the rear of the transmission

The adjuster nut is OK. It's like the clutch rod depressed to disengage the clutch then jammed and didn't return. I'll have it on the lift this weekend and get a closer look at it.
