Abs II can be loosened and cabled tied out of the way.
use a trolley jack and a wooden board to finally remove complete transmission drive assembly.

I had the same problem, My pressure plate was worn so i got a s/h one from motorworks.

I didn't loose sleep and just put it back together, I suggest that these bike vibrate so much anyway... that ...

Razz Brakes now working.

Don't know what happened between now and last night, but I suspect elves/ leprechauns entered my garage and fixed it. yeeha

Yes maybe, the brakes worked fine before hand. So perhaps something got dislodged and caused a blockage

Thanks for replies. as the lever is rock hard when the line at the abs was plugged, it means the issue is from the calipers to the abs.

I'm hoping it will cure itself somehow.

ok update.

Removed master line to abs (at abs) capped line and lever was rock solid, so not the master or rubber hose.
Held calipers up in the air and bled again. spent 30 mins at this.

The brakes were perfect prior to changing the metal line.

I thought by pushing fluid through the caliper nipples Embarassed it would push all the air out with ...

There's probably still air in the system. Put an absorbent cloth under the metal brake line fitting furthest from the master cylinder. Loosen the fittin ...

Replaced a metal brake line under the tank. while I was at it, I cleaned the calipers (removed the pistons etc).

All back together and I have bled all air from master to abs2, from master to calipe ...

Temp never got above freezing?

My old mk1 mr2 with pop up lights, manual says leave up if frost expected, or the fuse/relay will decide.

Maybe it got caught caught on ice?????

Thinking of fitting one as opposed to the "cyclonic oil separator", the breather tube looks oily and the oil filler cap puffs out fumes!
I don't want my newly fitted rear seal popping :sh ...

I Feel your pain man.

But its only a clutch, might even be just adjustment??

If it needs a replacement clutch, strip it yourself and spend an hour a day or so and you'll have it fixed in no time ...
