| actually it does. The problem lies with the insurance company. It is not a parts bike or a stolen bike. Obviously we Europeans have a more sophisticated insurance data base than the colonials lol |

| there is a frame number and an engine number..on my frame it is 7 digits long .....never had any problem insuring it. |

| Sounds like the rad cap to me. If there's no great loss from the header/overflow tank I can't think of anything else, and a K100RS I had some years ago did something similar which was down to a knacke ... |
