how much of the tread do you use? when i had a 18x4.5 on the rear i only had a small `chicken strip` when i fitted the 140/80/17 it was a lot larger- maybe the onset of winter is no ...

As per title, is there any advantage and looking at the avon website the 3x17 lt rear wheel should only have a 140/80 with a 4.25 rim having the larger 150/70.
The main reason i ask is I ride a 1986 ...

I use a long fairly blunt screwdriver, Pushed through from the other side of the wheel till it just touches the inside edge of the bearing-now its hammer time, you dont have to give a huge wack-medium ...

Front brakes, may get k11 rs or lt forks or a lump of metal and bash it and drill it!!

The rear fits with no issues apart from removing the rear caliper to fit the wheel each time and using a malle ...
