http://www.avon-tyres.co.uk/motorcycle/roadrider 120/70/17 but you would need a 150/70/18, which is still ok on a 4.5 rim.
dont do it though, get some bridgestone bt23`s dunlop roadsmarts or miche3li ... |

how much of the tread do you use? when i had a 18x4.5 on the rear i only had a small `chicken strip` when i fitted the 140/80/17 it was a lot larger- maybe the onset of winter is no ... |

As per title, is there any advantage and looking at the avon website the 3x17 lt rear wheel should only have a 140/80 with a 4.25 rim having the larger 150/70.
The main reason i ask is I ride a 1986 ... |

Front brakes, may get k11 rs or lt forks or a lump of metal and bash it and drill it!!
The rear fits with no issues apart from removing the rear caliper to fit the wheel each time and using a malle ... |

| Its all ebays fault, I have a 1986 k100rs and i have just bought a pair of k1100lt wheels to fit it, The front is deffo` going on so I will run a 110/80/18 but on the rear I have a 18x4.5 with a 160/6 ... |

The k1100rs bars are 25mm wider aswell.
why not fit std or c bars?

I used my k100 all through the winter, and my clutch arm sized, be careful what size hammer you use-i broke the tow ears that the pivot run through.
It was easier to remove the rear wheel and loosen ... |
