Done:
Swapped the lock cylinder from the cracked to the new post.
The lock cylinder was a bit jammed due to a of road dust ( from gravel roads ;-(
Time to mount the post with lock to the pannier. |

Thanks for your tips, will be carefull at drilling and if the drill jams or it will heat up the rivet close to risk for melting the plastic, I will use a dremel and grind it out.

Found the timing poiint are 6 degrees BTDP.
ref. according to the offical workshop manual page 12.6, the igition timing are statically set 6 degrees before Top Dead Point "OT".

Advize you to remove the frame from the engine, not the engine from the frame. It's easier.

"Upgraded" my -94 K11LT with shock and springs from Wilbers. A mayore improvement in comfort and handling.
