| As scott said replace them. My front one locked the brake on and threw me off. Only at walking pace so not much damage. Got it back home and saw the black pipe bulge when pressed then it popped !! |

Grease nipples on my car propshaft UJs, greased every year, however its a TVR and I have a four post lift in my garage, Im also an engineer with an obsessive nature.  |

Acording to Clymer manual. It lists in Table 11.
front brake caliper mounting bolts
Outer 2 bolts 5-10 Nm
Inner 2 bolts 25-35 Nm
Im not sure if this helps. |

As per title what do you find are the best settings for the rear spring and damper on a K1100 RS 1993. Also best tyre pressures whilst carrying a pillion.
Me 70 Kilos, my Mrs 70 Kilos.

| Rear was the easiest. I just unbolted the old pipe and replaced quickly. Then topped up the fluid, bled at the ABS unit then bled at the caliper untill no air came out. All lights went out when starte ... |

It was mine that got dropped.
Its now all back together and OK after replacing and painting a few panels.Fitted new stainless braided hoses.
Biggest problem is getting an indicator lens for the rig ... |
