Hey, is anyone planning on attending this race at the end of September?

Yes, I will be riding there. I think I will be riding up on Friday, and staying in Monterey, as I got a room for two nights.

I live just south of San Luis Obispo, so it will be a nice ride up there.

I'd love to go, but I'll be on a ride over 120 and 108 to Bridgeport and back that weekend.

VIRGIN margaritas??? What's the point? Shocked

Of course I will make a LITE version for those that can't drink the real stuff...

I bought the bike from the original owner in November of 07. Came with a Ohlins and the factory luggage. Right now, it is my commuter, and a lot of fun to ride.

i donts thinks im gonna be in the area... i thinks im gonna be in l a that weekend setting up the fort for a 6 month stay in the 3rd world war zone...

too bad cause it looks like we be gonna be in newark... then san jose... then salinas... the week or two previous...

perhaps when i get my schedule for the area... me and mnb and sonu and perhaps the treasonous k12 rider from morgan hill can meets up with you...

I won't go to the races but I may ride up and down the coast then. Last July I rode up the coast after MotoGP at Laguna Seca when I bought the K11RS in Malibu. I had a great time passing all of the other bikes on their way home up the coast. Very Happy

Darn, it looks like my biker-geek friends aren't going to make it either....

Let me know if anyone wants to share a room IN Monterey-8 miles from the track. Like I said, I'm going up friday, staying that night and Sat night. I will have the blender and whatever else I drag along...
