Folks
I must admit that I have fallen for the old girl
I bought my K11 LT as a cheap hack, but it is a competent all rounder and I'm struggling to think of anything that could offer better value.
I've decided to fit an alarm, and have picked up a new unit at a decent price.
I've never been a fan of randon cut/splice technique recommended by the alarm makers.
Most of the connections I need are already provided on the socket in the relay box.
Typical BMW, the 'Indicator Transmitter' box appars to complicate things.
The horn feed on the Green/Grey is easy enough, but the horn supply on the Green/Grey also connects into the indicator unit ?
Does anyone have the OEM alarm on their bike - does it activate both horn and alarm - does it immobilise ?
If you have the install notes and wiring diagram for the OEM LT alarm unit, they would be much appreciated.
Rgds
