She's home!!
BB = Baby Blue
SW = Shop Whore
Some comments after riding her home last night:
1. BB has 51,700 mile and it shows. Less overall vibration felt thru the grips, saddle and pegs than the SW with 180,000 miles.
2. The pull on the clutch is 35% - 45% lighter and the shifting up and down is very, very smooth. (I suspect I now need to adjust the cable on the SW)
3. The excelleration is smoother and quicker.
4. It is more nimble in the turns.
5. The throttle is more responsive.
More later...

I noticed that ol' SW looks a little cold and dejected over there in the corner all neked. Jealous of the perky ingenue, no doubt.
Beautiful machine. Love the color. _________________ tlp

ABS II as well?
Looks good, love the colour-keyed cases too, the base black does get a bit boring and we only ever got the colours on LTs. Don't forget to get the back paralever off & check the splines & drive boots. And the fuel lines too.

Thank you Max,
Yes ABS II.
Today we bought all the fluids to do the following:
1. Oil Change
2. Tranny Change
3. Final drive Change
4. Radiator Change
5. Fork oil Change
We also will be replacing the spark plugs, air and fuel filter.
During this time, we'll have her undressed on the lift inspecting every inch off all the lines, clamps, and wiring.
We plan to do a spline check soon, but it might need to wait until after Jan. 2009. It shifts like a buttery-smooch scalded weasel.
Next up is to wire in the Blue-C fuse block, and run wiring for a GPS and powered tankbag, and HID's.
At some point, we'll mount the PIAA 910's.
Then a tire pressure monitor by summer I hope.
Then SS break lines. _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore
