That is a nearly complete heated grip set except for the handlebar that is drilled to let the wires through. But, Just for you guys (and gals) I have the proper handlebar to complete the set. Otherwise the set is useless unless you spend a lot of time with carbide cutters on the stock bar. It will cost less than $100 shipped. Now, go ahead on it.

Crap! I was all ready to submit a bid until I read above that a drilled handlebar is needed to pass the wiring. Are you sure the bars on a K1100RS aren't pre-drilled?

The stock RS bars are not pre drilled. However, you can still get the OEM retrofit kit from BMW for around $200.00... It includes the correct handlebars, the heated grips, and the dashboard switch/ wire harness. It's a good deal if you're starting from scratch...

It's about $290 now (MAX BMW) or $231.16 (Chicago BMW)

Or you can just put on Symtec grips with an OEM switch on your undrilled handlebars for about $70: http://fdk11.pcriot.com/bmw/tech/heatedgrips/symtecgrips.htm

Well, Ed was telling you about the grips on ebay - but also letting you know that he had the bar for sale.

It's easy to check - roll the inside of the left side grip back a little - you either will or won't see a hole in the to of the bar(corresponding one underneath) .

No holeson the right side as it's on a new throttle tube.
