Had this on my 1996 K1100RS for a few years now. It's not Works; Wilbers or Ohlins quality but it is better than stock.
Heavier duty spring than stock - my 230 lbs needs the preload adjuster screwed all the way down for the proper ride height (sag). I don't think you could load enough on bike to coil bind spring.
Has damping adjuster (red part) on lower end.
Stock length.
Finally moved to a Works (thanks "Off the grid") so time to sell this one.
Asking $75.00 for it - price includes shipping in USA.

I may be interested in your rear shock for the 1100LT. Is it the stock length or is it shorter? Could you please measure the distance of the shock eye to eye? You can e-mail me direct at jj_bayer@bellsouth.net.
