I was trying to clear the stored Mototronic codes by grounding pin 2 of the diagnostic connector. Instead I triggered the dreaded ABS blinking lights. It took me forever to clear the ABS lights error the last time 2 years back. I tried grounding to anything on the bike large and metal but nothing happened. Where do you all ground the connector to? How long do you hold it? How do I clear the Mototronic codes if it's not using pin 2?
Thanks much. Ugh!!

Beau - you should be able to ground to just about any bolt in the frame...
The second forum (right under Tech) is Tech Resources & Stickies - has tech tips - including clearing codes. Check that section out, see if you can find any help there. _________________ Jim
