Riding home yesterday I purchased bad gas Sad Sad
I am going to try to clean one of my fuel injectors, because when you pull the wiring clip off the third cylinder it make no diff in idol. and skips/dropped a cylinder while driving
Was thinking about using choke cleaner after taking off the O rings because it swells the rubber, and then blowing out the injector with my air compressor..I'll let you know what happens..

It did'nt hurt the the bike to run with 3 cycinders?
hell I can't get over 2500 rpms on tack without dropping a cylinder,
Runs very ruff. I put STP fuel injecter stuff in.. with out that ,it skips even at Idol.

That's what I smelt!! Embarassed
It brought tears to my eyes. Crying or Very sad

Question endoman100; have you pulled the spark plug and checked it out?
It might be the issue perhaps.
I thought I had the same problem once, ran like it was trying to burn water. Mad

Got home, replaced all the spark plugs, problem fixed.

Just a thought FWIW.

Don't feel bad if it's only running on 3.
Try riding one with only 2. Shocked
Don't ask me how I did it but I had 2 exh valve go out at the same time. Didn't run for sh&t that way. But it DID run and got me 65 miles to home.

I pulled the bad fuel injecter and sprayed choke cleaner and the blew it out with my air compressor again and again until it finaly cleared. had to do it a few times. Now running fine on all four cylinders. Very Happy
What a different one cylinder makes.

Techron concentrate is the nectar of the gods. I run it through my bikes at least annually.

I was pretty religious (though not fanatically) about running Chevron Super (with Tehcron added) through my K75RT that only had 7k on it when I got it. When I parted it out at 42k the TBs were incredibly clean.
