the old one had 40 k plus on it... the bottom looked dirty... undid the 3 clips... slid the old one out... slid the new on in...

then discovered all 3 clips off... 1 on the ground... 1 on top of the engine... 1 seemingly lost...

i could only get the rear right on... cant even feel where the front clip goes... cant even fetch the rear left... its buried behind the coils...

f ed with it for an hour... temporary capitulation... so... gonna ride today like that... but will need to get the other clips on a s a p...

i know there is some kinda sensor on the airbox... if this thing dosent have a tight fit what effect will that sensor have on the engine...

Mine was missing the front clip for who knows how long when I first went to open it after buying the bike. No noticeable effect. I moved one of the rear to the front while I waited for max. Expensive little bugger as I recall, and seemingly designed to fall off. I'd be concerned about only one for the seal of the filter.

It's an air temp sensor - shouldn't be an issue.
