Wish I could be there.
WSB is TIGHT racing- it makes F1 auto racing look like a time trial.
Hopefully Spies can make a good showing in North America. _________________ John & Cathy

Had a great time and a great ride, although some of the trek was through heavy rain...
The track was AWESOME, and we had access to many of the racers. There were 5 races altogether, 2 of them being World Superbike.
Made lots of new friends, a great time was had by all Had a big surprise the night before the ride back home when I ran into Das Boot at the finale dinner party... small world!
Now some pics...
Troy Corser on the new S1000RR
Ruben Xaus, the other BMW factory rider
Nate Kern and his HP2, he raced in the GTU race
Chris Pfeiffer's amazing acrobatics aboard an F800R
Crowd favorite and Texan Ben Spies won both of the Superbike races
Points leader Noriyuki Haga
Max Biaggi riding the Aprillia
Finally, a tip: if you're ever in Salt Lake City, Eat at the Red Iguana the best Mexican restaurant EVAR (sorry no food pics )

Awesome pics Rydor, looks like you got that camera figured out!
Looks like a great event and I'll bet it's humbling to see those guys ride like they do. (although you're pretty damn fast too!)
Thanks for sharing!

Great images! Nothing like a day at the races...One of the lasting impressions for me are the sounds of the motors at full throttle. It's a beautiful thing.
Thanks! _________________ Black 1993 K1100RS, BFD |

It was indeed the longest trip thus far, 3200 miles round trip. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we had to slab it both ways...

Dom had the only camera of the two of us at the dinner... hopefully the photographic evidence of our meeting will appear in time... |

Hi, Dom,
I'll make you the same offer I made Steve. Friday I just picked up my new (to me) '95 K75RTP. I now have 3 K75's - an RT, an RTP and an A/3. You fly into El Paso. Pick the K75 you'd rather ride and we'll ride to Hungry Dungee I and back. _________________ Ride Safe,
