The idea came up on Milton's recent thread to have some K11OG stickers made up. I have volunteered to try to organize a printing. I need input:
Size?
Shape?
Content?
Personally I don't like the wheelie picture on the site logo much. I like the text below it as a stand alone. What do you think? _________________ Jim

I was just kidding but why don't you just use the logo on the shirts? And make sure to send Duck a half a dozen for all his bikes. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

There was one, saw one a couple of years ago on a UK bike, took a photo, but can't find it. Very similar to the T shirts. Just needs the FBR tag adding.
OR a picture of the cam cover with wings, like Thor's or Hermes helmet.
Want some. _________________ Regards Tim,

This was done a few years ago with the winged Cam Cover emblem. I have a couple but don't remember who made them up. _________________ Rod Kilduff

How about an oval like the ADV stickers? I'm not the artsy type, so someone will have to come up with a cool logo to put in there. But most people put the ADV stickers on one bag....a matching K100OG on the other bag????

I too think this is a great idea. I'd like to help but alas I can't even draw stick people. I do like the T-shirt logo. _________________ Jethro Tull: Thick as a Brick!

Good idea!
Put some wings in an brick and you'll have a good logo.
I'll want one.

How about the lettering only from the logo combined with something like the good doctor's flying brick avatar? _________________ John & Cathy

Here is what was done last time. The second image is a little dim because it still has the backing paper on it. I don't remember who got these made up. I have slept since then.

Send me a whole bunch. I'll put them on the INSIDE of my system cases.
If you're gonna go with the ADV type oval decal, why not just have a K11 in there? _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I meant the brick with the wing in the middle. You don't need KOG and K1100 Owners Group or either for that matter. Or the KOG could be on the spark plug cover. What do you care anyway. Are you hanging one on a Yamaha. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

My son is an art student so I have him working on one that looks similar to the shirt and will say Flying Brick in red with the K11OG on the plug cover. I'll post it to see what you all think when it is done, hopefully today. _________________ Rich

BMW has been giving alot of clubs greif for using the BMW trade mark in club names. I would suggest what ever you go with that it not have BMW in it. Just the K11OG should not be a trade mark issue. Years ago I got a hard time about a patch I had that had the BMW rondel with the word Boxer in the lower part of the Rondel. Just somthing to think about.

Stickers should be simple.
The logo at the top, sans picture would be great.
An oval like ADV but with K11OG would work.
The brickwing with K11OG on the sparkplug cover would work, but is getting a bit busy.
Anything else really is just too much.
I'd probably buy one and never put it on the bike. I've bought all kinds of stickers, I just never can decide where I want them or where they'd look good. The one exception is the F800GS, yet still no stickers have been applied on it. But I'll be putting a few reflective stickers on the saddlebags. The other bikes remain sticker free, and my sticker draw remains stocked. _________________ M N B

I think we're making progress.
By the way I don't care if I'm the one to spearhead this. I know on the planning board I'm on, the only way something gets done is if someone volunteers to shepherd it along. If someone else has a source they're comfortable with they can take over. Otherwise I'll start from scratch and get it done.
From what I've seen so far I agree with those that say simpler is better. _________________ Jim
