Does it mean it's time for a new shock if I can't bring home a six pack of long necks without the seals breaking? Now my topcase smells like a brewery and I'm going to have to drink them before they go flat. Anyone else had this problem? _________________ Jim

If you just toosed them in the top case without some padding around them I'm not surpruised.
I buy 12 packs and bungee net them to the back seat. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Securing the load properly to prevent damage is job one in transportation.
Even old geezer moto heap riding beer drinking K11og'rs can't ride THAT slow!
Or find a road that smooth.
Sorry bout your leakage, but good on you for taking care O' bizness & not wasting the precious cargo. _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

Yeah maybe you ought to lighten up on the damping. I only use top case on trips, but often carry a 12 of Shiner Bock on one side and Fat Tire Ale in the other case. Never a problem. _________________ '93 K1100LT

Only the Reasonists. They believe in an evidence-based world, something called Rationalism. But it's a tiny group, not so influential.
