I guess I'll start this thread with a few pics I took along the way and back.

For J.O., here's a portable grill for you.

Spotted at a truck stop in Ohio somewhere.

1st meetup was at OTG's place in Long Island with some American hooved beast

Added with it some authentic Brazilian sides cooked to perfection.

I wouldn't have thougth there was much scenery in LI but here's the view out OTG's back door.

Getting ready to head up to Saltcreek's place in NH.

We no sooner got there and we were leaving for SugarHill's place so I didn't get any pics there.

Quick stop on the way to SugarHill for gas/supplies.

It was a sight to see Dave on an LT again. Looked like he was in heaven.
I (out of habit) put my camera back in my tank bag after that last shot so I wasn't able to get one of Dave actually ON the LT.

Phil was setting there in deeeeeeep concentration on how to attack such a critter.

The whole layout with homemade cornbread and custom bean recipe and all.

Sorry to anounce but there weren't no survivors.

And yes the cleanup afterwards.

Here's a couple of the view out SugarHills back door. I really like the view.

The saturday ride was a little damp and cold for some up in the mountians but we went a little ways anyway.

From the view spot were we stopped.

My attempt at a panoramic shot.

Back to the garage to warm up and dry out.

Part of the SugarHill log cabin.

For some reason I didn't get any pics of the sat night PMarvin spaghetti fest, but I know that someone did.

Sunday morning was met with pancakes, bacon and NH's finest Tamarack Farms pure maple syrup.

Getting ready to load up and roll we noticed that SugarHill has been laxing in his cleanliness duties. As seen here.

Rolling down the road I managed to get a few shots in.

Dave wanted to try an RS as well.

Back on the road again.

Our last stop together(this trip anyway).

On the road again.

Once I hit the Ohio/Pen boarder the scenery just plain got boring, flat, same old corn/beans that I have at home.

Hi, Scott,
The foliage was beautiful. It was the first time I'd been in that part of the country when the leaves were changing since I moved from Troy, NY to MT. Dora, FL in 1957. But the best part was the people. It was just like HM and HD. The lobster was good; the ride there was good. But it was the people which made it special. Anyone on the List who can go to these events should go. I've met many of the people who post on the list in person. It is an incomparable group. I plan to go to as many of these get-togethers as I can. I hope all of you feel the same way. And if there is a stove and the necessary pots, I can probably be persuaded to do spaghetti again!

Crawdads??? These friggin' lobsters were bigger than your head, j o, and weighed almost as much. We got 10 of them for dinner and even OTG could only devour 1 of 'em.

Crawdads??? I don't think so.......
