I'm considering replacing the large rubber hoses between the TB assy and the injector housings.
Has anyone else replaced these, and if so what did you use for new clamps.
Both screw clamps or new 1-time band clamps.

TIA.

I used the "screw hose clamps" that are used some where around there too. As can be seen on the photo below.
You need to figure out how to place the screw bit, so you do not interfere with the butterfly valve motion.

Timely topic Scott.

This summer during my post-clutch replacement disaster I found that I could not get the TBs balanced (yeah, I know that should be done after the valves are checked).
One of my "boots" between the TB and the intake manifold has a crack that improved (would very briefly balance) when sprayed w/ WD-40. Looks like 4 new boots plus clamps are in order.

So I was wondering also if I could do all the reassembly with screw clamps and not use the one-time clamps.

Looks like tmoons has answered that subject- THANKS

BUT, do I order the screw clamps from BMW? I know that I need 4 #5 in the diagram but which clamps (or do I look for narrow clamps via aftermarket?)

I had this same problem last year when I pulled the boots in search of an intermittent cutoff problem that turned out to be a loose connection at the ignition amplifier. I'm embarrassed to admit that I just used zip ties to clamp these back on and they have worked just fine.

I could not find any hose clamps that were narrow enough.

I would however like to get them clamped properly, so I'll be watching this thread to see the outcome.

I ordered "46mm clamps" via Motorworks in the UK. They seemed BMW or similar. The One use clamps are down as 48.5mm. The screw type "Jubilee" clamps usually have range to go on the wider (lower) end of the rubber manifold.

When you are lining up the clamp screws, watch for the initial fouling, but especially for fouling the rotating parts of the butterfly actuators so make sure you operate the throttle through its full range while you are getting them in position or you may end up fouling the butterfly set up when you go out for the 1st run, ahem!
