Sunny and dry, mid 30's. Maybe could have used some heated foot pegs.
Lots of fun, same thing tomorrow. _________________ '93 K1100LT

If I could get past the 1/2 mile of ice covered dirt road, I could be riding too- but I'd be plowing through road sand and LOTS of salt. _________________ John & Cathy

Is that SNOW over yonder on the grass verge??? Wow, hats off to you guys for riding around when there's the possibility of snow on the road. Respect! BTW, what is 'black ice'?

Frozen puddles of water on the road that are pretty much invisible but very slippery! I found one in my kombi van in Colorado once, quite scary actually!! _________________ K1100RS '97

Ya it's either condensation or a light film of water that freezes and is very difficult to see on asphalt. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

I'm getting out the LT on March 1st unless there's a foot of snow.
Last year I was out riding in the middle of February. Having a hot bike is convenient when the temperature is cold. _________________ "Still can't find 6th gear" 94 K1100LT |

Thanks for the clarification guys, well, that's one thing I'd never have to worry about whilst out riding around here. The only ice available is in the freezer. Haha! Spilt Diesel from trucks on the other hand is real nasty, I can usually smell it before I see it...
