The first time I saw the boneyard, was probably around 1972 or 1973. I had run away from home, and hitchhiked across the US some 7 or 8 times.
Back in those days, you could still see lots of planes from I-10.
A lot of that land has been sold to real estate developers. It's still quite a sight. You can spend hours looking through the planes.
I'm pretty sure you can still find a few Starships there.
EDIT: I can't find the Starships anymore. They used to be there. Perhaps they've all been dismantled for spares.
