How "tight" should the back lash at the rear wheel be with the trans in gear? I realize there are gear clearances and spline wear and u joint. I get about 3" of back and forth movement at the wheel. Is this acceptable? Just bought the bike. Don't know a whole lot of history on the bike but it was serviced at a BMW dealer. Rolling Eyes

My mistake my bike has about 1" of backlash at the rear wheel. I just was wondering how it compares to a new bike. Very Happy
