Steering head bearings..should I or shouldnt I ??

I've got the forks out of my K11 and its gonna be a couple of weeks before the new bushes arrive.

There seems to beno ssue with the steering, I dont feel any notches and I've no idea when the grease was last checked.

Should I strip the steering head and check the grease is OK or hope all is OK. The bike has done 90,000km.

Yes you should, primarily as punishment for subjecting the world to the vuvuzela..... Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Laughing

And if your going that far, don't just grease them, replace them. Then you'll know when they were done and that they are in good condition.
