It's Flying Duck brand. (I made it myself.) It's also a camera mount for shooting riding vids.

Thanks, I really like it..
How do you like having the smoked windshield?? I like the looks of it, but would be afraid of not having good vision of the road at night through it.. I like to take off and do late night rides is why i ask..
Thanks. _________________ 1993 K1100LT

I think the biggest advantage to having the smoked windscreen is that the bike can be seen when parked. It's not uncommon for people to back into motorcycles and knock them over and although I try to never park behind someone for that very reason, sometimes it is necessary. The parking visibility thing is probably the main reason I run this windscreen instead of the clear Parabellum windscreen I've also got.
I'm generally looking over, not through, the windscreen so the fact that it's smoked usually doesn't enter into the equation with two exceptions:
1) Riding tight turns at night: Sometimes the "ears" of the Euro cut do obstruct vision a little when leaned fairly far over and looking through a tight turn. Not that big of a deal really but if I had it to do over I'd probably go with a regular cut for that reason.
2) Riding in the rain: The sky is generally darker when it's raining and that's the only time I have my windscreen up. If I'm wearing sunglasses and trying to look through the smoked screen when it's raining it's a bit difficult to see so I'll either take the glasses off if I'm wearing a FF helmet (clear visor) or switch to clear safety glasses if I'm wearing a half helmet.
Although I really like riding at night, it's very seldom that I do so in the rain. I can't recall if I'd ever ridden with this windscreen in the rain at night. For dry night riding it's fine since I'm looking over it. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I look over mine also, as I'm 6'5", and the only time i run my screen up high is if i get caught in the rain.
I know there is that small area ahead of you that you can only see thr the screen is why i ask, I run my screen just high enough to direct the wind just over the top of my helmet where the vents will catch the wind, so it stays pretty low, but there still is that few feet in front of you that is seen through the screen... _________________ 1993 K1100LT

You should be looking farther down the road than that so that shouldn't be an issue. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Oh, trust me i do, I look as far as my eyes can see and judge all things that way, but maybe it's me, i like seeing that small area in front, Maybe it wouldn't even bother me I'm not sure, but i do look in that area is why i was asking..
Looking way ahead has saved my butt many times, on the bike, in my car and even in my work truck, I drive semi locally in the LA, and San Diego area, so you know I'm use to looking way ahead, and with more than a million miles of safe driving under my belt, you know i look way ahead...
I think i looks really good and have been wanting one, but haven't seen one to ask anyone about it, I would love to find one for mine.
I'm gonna start working on the mount like you have for gps as that's sharp!!!! _________________ 1993 K1100LT

I never look that close in front of me so it's never been an issue for me.
GPS mount FYI: The one drawback of that location is that it obstructs my view of the turn signal indicators and high beam indicator. I took care of that by putting a blue LED behind the orange lens on the lower right set of warning lights(that used to be for the choke on the early 2 valve Ks) and wiring it up to the "real" high beam indicator.
For the turn signal indicators, I added some diodes and wiring so that they also flash the BMU indicator which I can see.
Another option would be to mount the GPS a tad higher. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
