As best I can tell Avon is putting the AV46 out to pasture and replacing it with the Storm 2 Ultra. The bad news is that those don't come in the stock tire size for the LT rear like the Azaro AV46 did.

I found this out looking for radials for my K75F since it's running K1100LT front and rear wheels.

FYI: The best price I found for a 140/80-17 Azaro was $114.99 (plus $5 for shipping.) at Dennis Kirk.

I picked up a BT023 for the front since those seem to have decent reviews, better than the PR2 by some accounts, and that was only $96.99. (plus $5 shipping)

Ten Four. I got The RT rear so I got options now. Thought you had one too?

My LT has an RS rear but due to the monolever swing arm on my K75F I'm using an LT rear wheel on that bike.

Dunlop, and I HATE Dunlop tires. Maybe Iv'e just had bad luck but all three times I've tried Dunlops on various Ks I've had issues.

Why is it you think they're discontinuing it? There's no indication on the Avon site and I was able to find the size for sale on 4 or 5 different sites.

This was one clue:

http://www.tiresunlimited.com/all%20tires/avon/AVON%20MC/avon_azaro_ST.htm

I also found some other references that the Storm 2 Ultra was a replacement for the Azoros.

Granted, I got my info from The Internet and was going to buy one for my project bike anyhow. That Dennis Kirk price of $120ish shipped is still pretty good though.

If in fact they are being discontinued, I'm gonna see if I can pick up another on a closeout or something.

FWIW, that site has said the Azaro was discontinued for 2 years...
