I've just neverthought the Boxer engine (as on a GS) made sense for anything that wanted to go off-road. Yeah, Yamaha has the Ténéré, but look at this:

I wannit.

Looks like it could be quite a bike, though someone seems to have pinched its nose off Wink

That is one GOOD looking bike.

I could see one in my future :nod

FWIW the jugs with engine gaurds rawks on two levels.

One, it can save your leg from being crushed.
Two, it make the bike easier to lift.

A bike of that size and weight (this one and the GS) are rarely if ever on single track narrow enough for the jugs to be an issue.

Depends on which route you take.

My favorite cup of Starbuck's is their Via (instant) mixed with the hot water from my Jet Boil - after the tent has been packed up and I relax at the camp site before rolling out for the day.

Will it be coming to the States though?

Reminds me of parts from several bikes

- new Ducati Multistrada

- Yamaha Super Tenere

- V-Strom

- BMW F800GS

But with a 1200 mega motor(like the Duc), off-road adventures by mere mortals would probably be limited to unpaved roads.

It's a dual sport made to compete with the barely dual sports like the VStrom.

The lack of suspension travel and ground clearance keeps it from being a strong contender with more capable off road bikes like the F800GS, 990 Adv and the R1200GS and GSA.
