Good job of filling up the extra room with LEDs.
That doesn't look very water resistant. You might want to consider painting the backs of those circuit boards with RTV or epoxy or something.
A 1993 K1100RS has a 700 watt alternator. You've got well over 200 available extra watts. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Did something similar, just covered the whole LED boards with the glue from a hot glue gun. Works a treat. _________________ K1100RS '97

Good work. Anyone running the stock rear tailight is crazy. The night I bought my latest K in Santa Cruz my girlfiend was following in the car on the way down to Monterey where we planned to stay for the night. She actually pulled alongside and made me pull over at one point, totally freaked out - said the bike just disappeared at night, the tailight was so dim.
The bulbs were good so I put in one of the LED kits for running and brake lights. Much better, but it made me wonder how I avoided being rear-ended when I used to commute into San Francisco on my first RS. That rush hour traffic was really scary. _________________ 2012 R1200RT Midnight Blue

There must have been a problem with the light, I know my stock taillight is plenty bright, especially the light for lighting up the license plate. Maybe you had the wrong bulb in it which could have caused it to be dim. _________________ 1993 K1100LT

Ride or drive behind one at night sometime. They really aren't very bright. The stock bulb is only 10W. If you put a higher wattage bulb in there then you can melt the tail light lens. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
