| Has anyone ever come across an application chart saying a Twin Clicker fits on a K1100RS? |

I think I have an old Fox application chart somewhere - I will try and find it. _________________

| Well I have one but there something fishy about how it is installed. It was on the bike when I bought it many moons ago and I am just noticing that if the bottom attach rod end is not shimmed out the spring hits the brake caliper. And if it is shimmed when the nut is tightened there is nut hanging over the end of the stud. Not a good situation either way. I am just wondering if this shock was made to fit this bike. |

I had one installed on my 93' K1100RS, worked good. I think the difference on the installation is where the remote canister is installed depending on if you have ABS I or ABS II. _________________ Carl |

Canister location not an issue. The shock doesn't seem to fit on the stud that comes out of the final drive. It either hit on the brake caliper or I can thread the nut all the way on. I got Loc-tite the hell out of it but that at right |

Grandma sucking eggs kind of question, but is it actually the right way up? _________________ Bikes:

No, it's a question I asked myself I've been known to pull a boner like that. But it is correct side up. |

With the design of the remote canister hose fitting it's not likely to fit the shock upside down without it looking extreemly dorky (like who the h--- put that on like that)
Actually Moondog I do recall having the instructions that came with it, if you think it may have any useful information. _________________ Ride safe.

Found it
From Archive.org (awesome, awesome resource!) of Fox site:
BIKE / FOX MODEL / PART#
K 1100 RS/LT (Paralever) TC 997-14-021-A
and from the Fox site, on the left click "Product Owners Manuals" and then from the dropdown, "Archived Owners Manuals" and then "TC" - bunch of great info there including a setup and a rebuild guide. _________________

Yes, looks like the site is down - the information is correct though, that model number ought to be on the shock somewhere. _________________
