It is now so far, after having to cancel last years annual trip to the island due to an operation, now ready to resume this yearly event Very Happy

. The wife has picked the area of North Umberland to terrorize Twisted Evil

and will be staying in the town (village) of Allendale Question

. This will also be our first trip landing in Newcastle Confused

, all our other trips brought us through Hull. In the past have found some great biker pubs and places in the Dales; Deveils Bridge, Hawes, the Milk Bar. Our one trip south to Stratford-on Avon did not reveal much, and area bikers were not much help. If anyone one has any recommendations on what to see and where to go (remember this is a family web site), would like to hear them. Will be staying 3 nights in a B&B, makeing day trips. Looking for biker meet-up places, pubs and local things of interest; castles, gardens, manor houses, did I mention pubs? Very Happy

Thanks for any help, could also use some good, dry weather but we know that ain't going to happen. Wink

If you ever come down south, Portsmouth area, beautiful place, brilliant roads, more pubs than anywhere else in Britain, and easy to get to via ferryport etc. Get in touch.
