Hi, All,
I feel like s**t. I restarted chemotherapy today, and the oncologist said, medically speaking, I should continue the full course of treatment - 9 weeks, and I expect to be at my daughter's in Arlington, TX throughout the treatment except when I spend a few days in El Paso. I will be terminated from my job on 27 December (6 months) and, though the H.R. people say they would like me back, it is not guaranteed. So in February, depending on how I feel, I may go back to work or I may retire. I won't know until then.
The prognosis still seems good. The chemo is to find and destroy any of the cancer the previous chemo and surgery might have missed. My oncologist is quite happy with my progress and doesn't think I should have any problems after the chemo is over. I hope he's right!
I still plan to go to HM V, but if I go back to work, there probably will be a conflict. I hope to see a number of you there. And if there's a chance of meeting, I'd love to see my friends and make new ones if you're in the Dallas area, in El Paso, or wherever we might get together. My thanks to all of you for your unwavering support through my travails (yes, I know a few 2-bit words!). _________________ Ride Safe,

I've had a terrible headcold, sore throat, coughing and hacking for the last 4 days so have been whining at everyone about it, it took reading this to shut me up and stop complaining.
Can't even begin to fathom what a daunting task you have ahead of you Phil, we are thinking of you even from afar.
I'll post some more funnies in the dungeon later to cheer your day up. _________________ K1100RS '97

Phil,
Hope you're feeling better this weekend. Gotta get you in shape for HMV; need my spaghetti fix.
And let's not forget the Irish coffee. Yum.
