The later K12RS finally fixed this problem by installing a chip upgrade which raised the revs that lil bit.
That is with Motronic 2.4 and the K11 has 2.2 I think.

Well today i started the K & same old same old (knock), but while i probed everywhere (even the shaft tube) it made the noise , then the fan came on then off, then after awhile it came back on then off , then out of no where the noise completely stopped. I mean it all of a sudden sounded like a completely different bike & no matter what i did it wouldn`t knock. (weird). I`ll have to see tomorrow how it sounds & let you know, but talk about feeling like a little kid with a shiny new nickle. ha ha ha !!!!
