Hi Fella's, just a short introduction to break the ice as a 'noob' on the forum. I'm Jon', British by the Grace of God, but very happy to be living here in rural New Brunswick Canada. My family and I moved here a couple of years ago from the county of Kent in the UK, to be closer to family, and there was no way that I was going to leave my ex-Police 1994 BMW K1100LT back in Kent. So, it was carefully packed into the removals van along with the rest of our home, to arrive in New Brunswick with a cracked fairing and paint rubbed off the mirror housings after the box the bike was packed in was made too small, and the mirrors broke through.
Thank God we had marine insurance, which kindly paid for the fairing to be fixed, and a total respray for the bike.
I'm loving having the bike here in New Brunswick, both for the riding, and for the novelty value as nobody else within hundreds of miles has one. The trouble can be though, that parts are like 'rocking horse shit' in this province.
As for me, for my sins I'm ex British Forces, a member of The Royal British Legion Riders Branch, and an ex UK Police Officer.
That about covers it all!

Jon- WELCOME!!
New Brunswick is a nice area of Canada. Wandered through NB last year on our way to Nova Scotia.
We are reviving the Hungry Lobsta' get-together in early September. Northern New Hampshire- look for details of past HL in the Meeting subforum.
All are welcome. Maybe you want to wander south?
