With all the name calling aside, I just want to see who was successful and google their names to find more information about them and their long distance rides. _________________ 1997 1/2 K1150GT Factory Experimental Pre-1998 K1200RS That Did Not Make The Cut |

GOOD Evening everyone...
WOW...! Any other words come to mind ??? Just another 600+ to go and its on the books !! Got every digit on hands and feet "crossed", Daume gedruckt, and all the candles lit, that tomorrows traffic and weather are in your favor !! Ive done the the Calais back to Utica ( NYU ) ride with students before, but never under pressure, and I know its a good 9+ hours,,,and thats got me sweating tonight ! Wish I could be back in Eastport tomorrow to cheer !!!
Best regards all...ride safe....stay dry....// Ernie in NH _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

Good morning all..
Like all of you...I checked earlier this morning sometime just after 6 am EDT and she was underway, with appx 12 hours in which to pull off a normally 9+ hour ride. For those who dont know, traffic on a summer weekend along the entire coastal Maine, just like Cape Cod, can be BRUTAL beyond belief .. hence "fingers crossed" ! At least the weather has cleared so that obstacle is out of the way.. As of 15 minutes ago, looks like she was about to get on the extreme western end of Massachusetts Turnpike ( I-90 East )
Well... thats my perspective... ride safe all...// Ernie in NH _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

I don't know how much delay there is in posting the SPOT info, but she seems to be at the Mass Pike/495 intersection. I would assume the plan is to head northeast on 495 to meet up with 95. _________________ K100 rider with a yen for an 1100 motor. |

Yes, she's on 495 almost to Lowell.
(I'm so old that when I was riding in that part of the world, there was no 495.) _________________ K100 rider with a yen for an 1100 motor. |

Hi Trackers...
Well see our girl is in Bangor now ( 395 ) and went one exit too far.. easy to do if you dont know Bangor. She'll either back-track or the GPS will re-route her through neighborhoods back to Rrt.9 ( Airline ) and a straight shot to Calais.. a bit less than 3 hours to go ( latest possible arrival time 6:43 p.m EDT ) as I calculate it ..
Regards all.......// Ernie in NH
ps: Drikko... I've got my brew READY for the arrival screen shot.. you on ?? _________________ AMA,, American Deaf Bikers

Looks like Shogs is back in Eastport, or within a couple miles of her end point.

Hi John... ( super eh ?? )
The easternmost point in Eastport is the Water St quay where the ferry docks. If she went by the cemetary at 5:34, the quay is only 500 feet away.
OK... its your turn next, "Sunrise to Sunset insanity " ?????
