A 1986 K75C with a Luftmeister turbo! I never thought I'd ever get to see one of these in person or sit on it, much less own one Very Happy

It's got 114K on it but has new tires/battery and runs and rides well. (That's from the person who picked it up and is storing it for me in SoCal, not the seller.)

Here's a couple of pictures of it from the CL ad:

Once I have the title transferred, I'm going to fly down to SoCal in a couple of weeks, throw a WA plate on it and ride it home up Hwy 1. Oh, the horror of it all. Shocked

Wow, you don't hear much about the turbo mods on these bikes. Yea, let us know what you think of it.

Yup, still have the K1. Don't ride it though. I want to give it a spline lube and it needs new shoes before it's ride-able again. Part of my never-ending todo list for all of the eight or nine K bikes I now own. I did manage to find a nice Corbin for it (two actually - for $300 locally) so it'll be nice to get rid of the ratted out stock seat.

I've been doing some poking around and it looks like this turbo K75 may be a one-of-a-kind as apparently it might have been a prototype and Luftmeister concentrated more on turboing K100s for sale since they have that extra cylinder and, for obvious reasons, could put out more HP . Supposedly the turbo kicks in at about 5000 RPM on a K75 and can peak in the neighborhood of 130 HP. Should be quite good for getting some extra grunt pulling out of turns.

When I get it home I'll probably put a K11 front end on it and paralever it since I've got all of the parts I need to do that already on hand. That should probably give it a top speed of 150+ - although I'd never do that here in WA because there'd probably be some jail time and confiscation involved and it's not worth the risk to me. Maybe I'll take it to Montana or Wyoming.....

NOW THATS BIZZARE why would they turbo a c model there renowned for tank slapping and the rear drum brake is useless. I have one and I'm fitting a para rear end on it too, also k1100 throttle bodies and injectors .Seems strange they didn't fit it to an s model at least .Nice score should be an awesome bike with the mods your planning you'll need that better front end as it should fly.
