Well again I am trying to post photos of the work that I have been doing on my 1993 bike that was sitting for 12 years wasting away in a damp garage,
The speedo only shows 19000 + miles , but this has fitted with a new clock and the actual Miles is approx. 60000 +.
So what do you think !

Very nice!
I am intrigued by the Air Temperature gauge fitted to the speaker grill. Is it a BMW part? Any idea where they can be sourced or were you the guy who beat me to something very similar on eBay a while ago!
Best regards,

Hi David,
Glad the posting of the pictures worked OK
The gauge you saw is a volt meter.
It just means I can see that the battery is charging OK and before cranking the engine I can see the condition of the battery.
Any other info . just post it.

Thanks for clarifying. The gauge I didn't win was an air temperature gauge fitted to an Ex Police machine. Had a very similar appearance to your voltmeter but was mounted at the front of the left hand glove box and was being sold by a breaker as a genuine BMW part - Never seen that on any parts fiches!
Anyhow well done on your restoration
Best regards,
David |

Thanks Steve,
If you look at "Dormant 12 years" there is a short list of the work I have been doing.
