Does anyone else suffer from forgetfulness when on their LT. My wife asked me to get some molasses next time out. I knew I need some tooth paste too. So I went out for a ride. Did I remember either one of them? NO I did not. So I go back out and grab the molasses but did I remember to get tooth paste? No I did not. DAMN LT's. This happens when I on either the 1100 or 1200. Coincidence??

Wow, I had the same thought today as I rode out to check on the pool at our country house that is for sale. Not so much of a forgetfulness, but a "senic road" kinda issue. It's 7 miles and 15 minutes between the two houses. I check chlorine in the feeder, added pH up, and algaecide, maybe 15 minutes. On the way home I got distracted and rode down part of HW 25 to North Augusta, then down through horse creek Valley. Was gone an hour and a half and about 50 miles total.

I did this same trip Saturday to carry chemicals out to the pool was gone 45 minutes and was 18 miles total.

Had just washed the bike, 82 degrees out and sunny. Who's in a hurry to get back home?

I don't think the problem is endemic to the K1100 it used to happen on my Goldwing as well. In fact it happens even on my C650GT too. Sign of old age maybe? Or possibly motorcycle euphoria?
