Hi all,

Anyone know where to get an aftermarket antenna? I have seen some pic's on this site of others bikes with long antenna's, look to be about 12 inches. Tried the boneyard but out of stock of both original and aftermarket.

The original on my bike has popped out to see the spring and I can't get it to stay down on the serrations, keeps bobbing about like a bobblehead, all pieces are there.

Any idea's how to maybe fix? Would super glue impair the performance?

Thanks ahead of time.

Years ago I bought an antenna from Radio Shack to put on my 82 R100RT.

A quick check with Radio Shack shows that they may not sell auto antennas any more. I did find one for a K1100LT on eBay now. Also you may want to check out this one on Amazon.com.

Brian - the screw that holds it all together is on the back side - inside the fairing. If you have all the pieces, and that screw is still there - adjust and tighten it. If you don't have that screw, you'll need to figure out screw size and get one.
