Hi guys my bike is nearly back on the road, just replaced all the brake lines with braided and everything else made of rubber. Just a couple of questions, hasa anyone used the Avon Storm 2 Ultra tyres (tires). Next question, my rear master cylinder is leaking from the plastic fitting for the remote reservoir on the master cylinder itself. I have pulled it apart and it is perfect except for the plastic fitting. I destroyed it when I removed it, it was letting fluid past the Ó ring in the bottom. Does anyone know where I might get one from? The cost of a master cylinder here is $320.

While I usually fit Michelin PR2 or PR3 tyres, a couple years ago I was looking for something different- no reason other than I wanted to see if there was something different.

So I fitted Storm 2 Ultras front and rear. While I definitely NOT a super discerning tyre evaluator I did notice a difference between the Avons and the Michelins.

The Avons felt as if they transitioned side to side a bit better (think of going through a few "S" turns where you turn one way then quickly turn the other way). I would describe it as feeling like the Storm 2 tyre's cross section was more round.

In my opinion they will work great for you.

Perhaps someone else will reply to your master cylinder problem. Got to go.
